So what are some of your tips for getting out of a plateau and remotivating yourself?
I am a 29yr old female and starting weight was 290 now 253, I was doing so well for months! Without really thinking about it I was eating 1500 calories a day and even on bad days I was eating 1800. Then I got a stomach bug in early October and I haven’t been able to get back on the horse since! I think part of the problem was I when I was getting back to eating food I just had to eat what I could keep down! So I ate a lot of bread and toast and rice and potatoes, things I wouldn’t eat a ton of. Then after my eating was sort of normal I splurged a little and would eat a treat here and there telling myself it was okay cause I starved for days. But now here I am a month later and I can’t seem to get things back in control, I’m really struggling to even eat 1800 calories a day! I haven’t lost even a pound in the last month.
So my question to you is when you fall off, what got you back on it? How did you get over your plateau?
