NSV: Had my most active day since I started tracking and it was a complete non-event

Six months ago when I got serious about losing weight & getting fit I started graphing my steps and my active minutes, with the goal of increasing them overall and having few zero activity days. I just had the chance to put in my data from the weekend and was surprised when the data points for Sunday were literally off the chart! Once I tweaked my axis settings I was surprised by how much higher it was than my previous record.

Here's the graph for reference The first peak way back in June was a hike. With one thing and another, I haven't been able to get out for one since then and I just thought it wasn't possible to hit that kind of high just doing my usual things around my place. On Sunday all I did was the grocery shopping (walking there and back), my regular run (but a shorter route than usual), a 10min HIIT workout, and then took a walk down the beach in the evening. A while ago I probably wouldn't have had any energy or the motivation left after the workout, but lately I've just kept going.

Some of it is improved fitness, but a lot is a better attitude and knowledge towards my body. I know when I need to rest, and when light/different exercise will be better. I also know that I love being active and always feel good for some movement, which is probably my greatest motivator!
