SW: 213 CW:207.5 GW: 150 5’1” F, 32 yo Started our diet again (false starts several times this year)this week and have an unused gym subscription I plan on taking advantage of next week. Before having kids I loved working out at the end of the day. However, that’s no longer feasible. I’m so worn out after taking care of my toddler that I know I won’t go at the end of the day.
My husband has offered to start getting the baby in the morning if I wake up early to go to the gym. Basically, I need to start waking up at 5, so I can do 1.5 hours at the gym, shower, and be ready for the day by 8am, when he leaves to work. Factoring in transit time, that’s the latest I can push waking up.
But motivated me is really hard to summon that early in the morning. I fear I’ll just hit snooze and push these gym plans for another day.
Any advice, tips, or tricks for getting out of bed and accomplishing what I want to do?
