Need Advice Please

Hey everyone.

So, I finally reached my 20lb down goal last week. Since then, though, I've been bouncing between 338 and 342. I've been feeling extremely down about it. I don't want to give up. I haven't gone over my calorie limit goal on MFP at all except on Thanksgiving, which it was only about 100 calories over. Can the jumps between 338 and 342 be because of sugar and or carbs even though I don't go over my calorie limit? I'm afraid of restricting myself too much because I want to slowly learn to become healthy and not just overwhelm myself and drop everything all at once. I don't drink soda, very rarely I have a diet coke. I drink strictly water and tea with no sugar. I typically eat meats like beef and chicken and vegetables like green beans and broccoli. Though, between those I have some processed foods like meat filled pasta, Daves killer seed bread, or some small candies. I weigh all the foods I eat and make sure everything is logged before I eat them.

I haven't been exercising much, could this be one of the issues? I got mauled by a big dog a few weeks ago and got bit up pretty bad on the back of my leg and have had trouble just walking places. It's finally healed up mostly, so do you think if I started some physical activity I'd see better results?

I'm sorry if these are dumb questions/concerns. I'm still learning to take better care of myself and live healthier. Thank you in advance.
