'bout to lose it, just bought a gym membership and I wonder how long my sessions should be?
This is a pretty good looking schedule I found somewhere online:
Monday: Chest, Biceps, Triceps - Cardio for 15-20 minutes
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday: Legs - Cardio optional
Thursday: Cardio
Friday: Off
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Back, Shoulders, Triceps - Cardio for 15-20 minutes
I've been thinking to have 1 hour long sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays since on those days cardio and weight training is combined so 40 minutes of lifting weights and 20 minutes of HIIT cardio on a treadmill. For how long should I do cardio on the only-cardio days? 40 minutes? 60 minutes? I have no idea, I'd be great if I got a little bit of FB and help here.
P.S Last time I went to the gym was about 4 years ago so I'm not totally unfamiliar with all the machines since I workout pretty regularly back then.
