My 15 y/o brother seems to be obsessed with losing weight. Should I stop him?

He currently weighs around 175 lbs and has a skinny fat physique. Meaning skinny arms but is a bit chubby in the belly and thigh area.

His fitness routine consists of:

  • 2 days per week in weight training class with minimal lifting
  • 45-60 minutes of moderate biking (exercise bike) every day
  • ~30 minutes of additional weightlifting with weights at home

He is also cutting down on lunch and dinner (which are home cooked and healthy). I am trying to encourage him to have at least half of a protein bar every day but he is inconsistent on that as well. I am concerned he is not getting enough calories so support proper muscle development and general body development because of his age. Should I do something?
