I've always been overweight. When I was a kid, there was always junk food, soda etc. No one in my family knows what healthy lifestyle is. I grew up not exercising, sitting around the tv. My mother only ever cooked out of a box or used the microwave. We never really had homemade meals or healthy meals. Hamburger helper is not that healthy (that's what mom made a lot as a kid). I'm 30F and it's really it's really hard to break 30 years of bad habits. I've always hated myself for it. I've tried low carb, no carb, counting calories, etc. Nothing seems to work. For the past 14 weeks I've been laid up from knee surgery. I'm finally out of my brace but not approved for all activities physically. I'm in physical therapy for it. The doctor told me that it would help to lose some weight especially when it comes to stairs. Issue is since physically I cant do much due to knee, any tips? Looking for advice on what I can do that doesnt require using my knee at the moment. After my leg is healed fully, I'll probably need advice then too. :-)
Thank you
