I'm pretty sure I am addicted to sugar. I'll start with a little bit of background. I'm 31, 5'2" and weigh 130.5 lbs. I've been active my whole life, until I broke my neck (not through being active) and had to convalesce for nearly a year. Thats what started my weight to increase little by little. But....I love sweets.
Each year I've been gaining weight little by little but not enough to truly be alarming for me. I've started a new workout routine with an amazing trainer and my nutritionist has been helpful with my macros, but the biggest problem is that I'm not sure how to kick my sugar addiction! I only drink water and tea, very rarely drink alcohol and eat most things. But I truly love a cookie, or two, or three. I don't snack at work and I don't keep them at home, but I get cravings and I would go to the store because cookies sounded good. Then immediately regret my decision.
I'm pretty sure this sugar addiction is a big part of why I'm not seeing many results in losing wight and I'm in need of a way to finally kick my sugar addiction. What worked for you to kick the habit of eating sugar?
