I used IIFYM.com (If It Fits Your Macros) and it told me my caloric goal is 1379 in order to lose 1-2 lbs per week. This is assuming a sedentary lifestyle even though I am active. I put that in because almost every thread I read suggests to say you’re sedentary and then to NOT eat back your calories from exercising. Then I used the TDEEcalculator.net and it told me my maintenance calories are 1769 per day. So if I want to lose 1-2 lbs per week, I subtract 1000 off of that, right? But that puts me way under 1200 which I heard isn’t safe. So what do I do? Btw, I’m female, 42 years old, 5’4”, 161lbs (sw 224, gw 130). I also typically walk 4-5 miles per day about 4-5 times per week. Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction
