Guys, I hate exercise. I mean, even a walk around the block puts me in a bad mood. I don't know why. I've tried to be The Person who Loves Exercise, but it's just not in my wheelhouse.
As I'm getting closer to my goal weight, I NEED to incorporate exercise if I'm going to maintain my goal weight. I'm a fairly petite 5'3" and my TDEE (due to couch and Netflix as well as stature) is low. And also, I want to make sure I have a healthy heart as I get older. My dad died at 55 four years ago today.
Have any devoted couch potatoes found an exercise that they can tolerate? I was thinking of getting a folding exercise bike to set up in front of the TV. Another friend said I should try exercise classes that meet at a certain time because it'd be like an appointment that I missed. But I think if I did that, I'd just feel guilty for missing my class--so I'd end up with guilt AND no exercise.
I don't know. Ideas?
