I’m a 26M, 210lbs, 5’ 10” been working out for about 4 months and I’ve dropped about 20lbs, but I’ve plateaued at about 210. I fluctuate between 213 and 208, but I haven’t seen a lot of fat loss since the initial drop ended about a month ago.
Normal eating schedule is roughly:
Breakfast: 3/4 cup Steel Cut Oatmeal
Lunch: 2 heaping handfuls of baby spinach with either a Costco chicken breast or ~.6lbs ground beef.
1 hour before work-out: 1 Oikos Greek Yogurt cup and a banana
Post Work-Out/Dinner; 1-1/4 Cup white rice, 2 pieces whole grain toast(nothing added), .6lbs ground beef cooked in butter with chopped onion, green pepper, and red pepper. I also drink protein while cooking and BCAAs while eating.
I work out daily for 1.5-2 hours. There have been soooo many opinions and options I’ve read for how and what to eat to cut fat/weight while still maintaining and/or gaining muscle. Eating more smaller meals during the day, having small snacks, no/low carb diets, keto, and the list goes on.
SO, my question: What do I need to change to maximize fat loss? What has worked best for you to cut fat loss?
