Cardiologist tells me I have to loose 44lbs (Advice needed)

Hi everyone, yesterday I went to my cardiologist because I was having chest pains and was worried something was wrong as I’ve had high cholesterol before and it gave me problems in that area. I’m a college student living far from home so I tend to eat out and eat a load of junk food (mainly McDonalds since it’s cheap), Cardiologist told me my BMI has gotten dangerously high, to the point where I am in the fine line between overweight and obese. I’m about 160lbs and 5’1, so I’m wondering if any of you have tips on how to loose weight while so busy in college? I can meal prep for some weeks but in exam weeks or finals it is almost impossible to meal prep or go to the gym, as I spend most of my time at school. For reference I study animation, which is very sedentary.
