So a few weeks ago I started getting to sleep at a consistent time, and cutting portions and eating healthy as well as waking up and walking a mile and some every morning. This is all thanks to people on this sub who helped me figure out how to condition myself mentally to adhere to a better way of living for myself.
Now I haven't followed my new plan to the letter every day. I still work some late shifts and sometimes get fast food on the job, so I'm not suprised I haven't lost weight yet. And while that fact is a bit disheartening, there is a "But" to all this:
My days feel longer and more filled with activity. I feel well rested and have more energy throughout the day. On a semi embarrassing note, my bowel movements are more regular and easy. I'm saving on groceries because of smarting buying and eating habits. Along with a new job that offers a more stable regular schedule, I'm finding it easier to live a consistent (or mostly consistent) lifestyle.
I am generally a happier, better person. And if I don't drop a single pound, this is still worth it. Thanks for your help guys. I'm calling this one a success.
