30 Day Accountability Challenge- Day 19

It's Monday, which means we survived another weekend, hopefully not with too much damage to our waist lines or calorie counts. This past weekend has been by far the most challenging one for me yet since I started actively tracking and limiting my calories. And yet I came out of it... at exactly the same weight I entered? Huh, wasn't expecting that after two big restaurant meals. Brazilian steakhouse did in fact happen last night and it was amazing. Everything was so delicious! Not just the various steak, lamb, pork, and chicken dishes (though those were all top-notch) but the grilled pineapple with cinnamon... mmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about that pineapple. Definitely will be trying that one at home, kids! Could be a delicious, healthy and low-calorie sweet treat. Today I've mostly been holed up working on cover letters because there were two jobs I found last Friday that I think would fit me to a T and could be great opportunities for me. Didn't want to miss out on them because of Thanksgiving shenanigans. Also been out walking enjoying the beautiful weather and sunshine.

Weight: 133.1. Again, how is that a thing? I did get a lot of steps and went for a 6K run but I don't think it was enough to actually counteract all the extra eating I did. Although my fitbit says I burned 436 calories so maybe I wasn't as far over maintenance as I thought.

Calories: Tracked at 2220 but that's the best rough estimate I could come up with since I had no way to weigh all the small pieces of meat that they cut off and served to us. Also, that doesn't include 5 or 6 different little bites of various things that I was kindly donated from my husband when I didn't want to spend the calories to eat the whole piece so... idk but at least I tried my best. There was a time when I would have had the mindset that if I don't track it and I don't weigh myself I can pretend it didn't happen. But I did try to track as best I could and I did weigh myself, so go me?

Steps: 16675 yesterday. Still happy about the run I went on yesterday and since I ate at or around maintenance I'm excited for another good run today.

Gratitude: I don't think I've said this before but I'm very grateful for my good health. The number of health challenges on both sides of our family and a couple of unexpected deaths have really reminded me that being healthy and fully able-bodied is something I shouldn't take for granted because who knows when that could change overnight just like that.

Now time to hear from all of you! How has Monday been treating you?
