I’ve lurked on this sub for the past month or so but I’ve never posted, so hello! F 20 SW: 231 CW: 221 GW: 180. I never thought I’d actually find a way to lose any weight but I managed to lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks!! I have almost no self-discipline so nothing ever worked for me before now but CICO is amazing. I’m able to eat the same things I ate before but with smaller portions so I don’t feel like I’m limiting myself as much. This sub has helped me so much in realizing that my unhealthy relationship with food was the reason I’ve always been overweight. I saw food as a hobby and I overate almost constantly, especially when I was bored or sad. I still struggle sometimes (especially in social situations) but overall, my weekly calorie count is always below my goal even if I go over one day. I’m hoping this is something I can keep up for much longer until it becomes a lifelong habit!
