Hi, I'm 17 years old (turned 4 months ago), male, 13 stones 11 and I am 6 feet tall.
I want to turn my life around as being overweight has caused me a lot of problems (low confidence, anxiety, physical problems etc). I want to try and get fit before August next year so I can start uni without having all these problems weigh me down (I am also taking therapy to help me cope).
In order to do so I have started the gym and plan on starting a diet. I am starting tomorrow so I was wondering if you guys could help me out with some questions I have and give me some helpful tips.

I plan on going gym 5x a week and i plan on spending my first week on the crosstrainer and bike (after the first week I will move add in weight training and will stick with this routine permanently). How many calories should I try and burn all together on both the bike and crosstrainer?

Is 1800 calories intake good enough?

How many calories should I attempt to burn a day?
