I have been losing for almost six months and am down about 60 lbs. For the first 3-4 months all I did was walk, and the calorie limits MyFitnessPal set for me worked fairly well, but since taking up running and cycling, my appetite is way up. I updated my MFP settings last month to reflect my more active lifestyle but am finding that the 1,920 net calories/day (up from 1,500) often still isn’t enough. I think one potential problem could be that I am continuing to let MFP award me exercise calories as if all my activity is walking/steps, for which I am usually only getting credit for 150-200 calories/day, but I am also nervous about tracking my activity with MapMyRun and MapMyRide and having MFP award me the full calories burned for those workouts.
Any advice on how to handle this?
