over eating habit - eating just for the sake of it....

Hey guys! Just wondering if any of you have tips on how to kill a night over eating habit. I would not go so far as to call it a binge. I practice backlogging calories until the evening, where I have subconsciously trained myself to look forward to dessert and all these calories I get to consume from “self restraint” or I guess some would say “restriction” during the day. I will however eat during the day when hungry, Im just generally not after years of practicing some sort of pseudo IF....I find myself over eating at night, that is, I will feel really full but just need to eat that extra halo top tub or scoop of nut butter because I know I have extra calories left- even if I’m not hungry I’ll push myself to eat them because it’s like I’ve habitually trained myself to snack continuously past dinner and I’ve mentally hyped myself for the dessert of yoghurt, halo top and nut butters - genuinely my favourite types of food.

Basically- I’m ok with eating, but I’m forcing myself and “allowing” overconsumption- just ate three mini pots of yoghurt because I had spare calories, but I’m not even enjoying it really beyond the first....simply because I know I have the calorie allocation....any tips on how to break this?
