So, since I've been frequenting this sub almost daily for inspiration I thought I'd share my little victory.
I'm a 26F/5'7/CW223/SW230/GW140. I've always been pretty sedentary and ate way more than I should. There just came a point where I thought better now than later to make some changes. It's been just over a month now that I started to make some lifestyle changes. I started CICO and going to the gym about 2-3 times a week. I feel so much better than I did a month ago and that is what is pushing me to continue. Now what I never expected was to feel any difference with the migraines I have. I have been a migraine sufferer since I was about 10 years old; if you have experienced one before you know how much they can suck. I've tried many things to reduce and ease the pain but nothing ever worked except sleep and ibuprofen, which I hated taking so many of. The norm is that I get them about once a week is not more, almost always resulting in vomiting.
The last couple of days I've just been floored that I haven't had an attack in the last 2+ weeks. I had a couple minor headaches that only lasted a few hours but nothing close to the usual. I hope that the changes I've made to improve my health are the reason behind the absence of migraines because that is all the more motivation I need. I know it's still a bit early to speculate but I am hopeful!
I am curious if any other migraine people have had the same type of experience?
