This is my first time using Reddit so I'll be brief and light.

I've been out of the Army for 2.5 years and gained the veteran 50. My goal is to fit back into my uniform by my birthday next May. I have been gaining weight due to life being extra hard (someone close to me died, disabled parents who live far away, PTSD and anxiety issues).

Something good that I've done was last August I took some control back from my life and joined CrossFit. Because of my military background I love the social/teamwork aspect of CrossFit.

What I struggle with is eating right. I stress eat to fast food for nearly every meal time. Have been doing mindfulness meditation to deal with stress but I think I now need nutritional guidance and support.

I'll be looking through the the posts but should I use this as some kind of fitness journey entry or as an advice column?
