Maintenance Monday - Changing fortunes

Happy Monday all of you,

Not much to report this week. It's been a semi-holiday week here (2 days work, 5 day weekend is a much better schedule than usual), and I sorta let my food habits slide. So that's been a bit of a warning for me, to see how fast last week's "everything's awesome on the weight front" can go away.

The numbers on the scale have been rapidly spiking upwards these past three days. And while rationally I know spikes like that are water weight (I haven't been that careless with my diet), I still panic over it. Gotta stay vigilant. Hoping to get back to a normal, healthy eating schedule this week, and also hoping my rolled-again ankle has healed enough by tomorrow so I can go for a run.

For today though, I have a very important meeting coming up. My two year old niece called to ask if I want to jump into a mountain of leafs with her. That's exercise too, right?

Also, an interesting maintenance read.
