I was 378lbs only a year ago. I lost some weight but obviously not enough. I don't know if it's okay to do what some have recommended. I want advice, tips and/or ideas. Is it a reaistic goal to try and lose 100lbs in 12 months??? I am 27 & 5'10. I exercise 1-2 hours a day 6/7 times per week. Hiking & playing disc golf. I admit I already know my diet isn't the best and I should probably cut out soda and juices.
Someone told me I should do intermittent fasting and cut down to 1200 calories per day but that seems excessive to me. 1 because I feel this is gonna lead me to overeating and 2 because I don't think it's safe.
I don't know. Obviously I don't know enough about health and nutrition or I wouldn't be 300lbs.
Anyway, I lost weight on the keto diet, but I don't want to do that again. So I want advice on how to have a normal diet(meats & veggies, but no fish) and lose weight.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you in advance for your suggestions.
