i think I have a hamstring injury.

Hi Folks, I need some advice:

On Monday I was just walking to the store when the inside of my thigh felt very painful. Walking became kind of hard and the hill I was going up felt like murder. I got to the store ok and leaned on the cart while doing it, but walking back was excruciating.

I tried to workout after resting the rest of the day but it still hurt, i only did about 20 minutes.

Yesterday at work I was okay, no real pain though I could feel it. I got home and did a respectable 31 minutes despite feeling it. It didn't hurt nearly so bad.

Today I did a long work day and a 30 minute walk after to my bus stop, and that was not too bad, except when I had to run. Tonight I got on the treadmill and it felt like torture. I did about 15 minutes, with a stop, and just had to pause.

I researched the pain on Google and it sounds like a Grade 1 Hamstring injury.

I'm really upset and angry with myself for getting hurt somehow - I started as you see very big and now I'm so close to what was my initial goal of 200. For my height, that's no longer obese - something I have never been in my living memory. i was really hoping to be there by Christmas. I don't have too much of an issue with eating so I think I can control that part but I'm very frustrated.

I read about icing it but I don't really know if that will help, I don't feel any inflammation.

Is there any way to help speed up a recovery on this?
