I ate awful today and you know what?

Its a holiday. I went over my calories yesterday as well. But I spent some great time with family, had some delicious food and drinks.

I did my best today, limiting myself to two glasses of wine and only put small amounts of potatoes/meat/carbs while favoring some amazing roasted vegetables. But I had a great time with desserts.

But you know what? Life isn't worth living if you don't occasionally indulge. I have gained a bit of weight back and been feeling down lately. But I am going to wake up tomorrow, grab some fruit, bread, and go for a short walk. Got a football game to watch tomorrow too. Gonna have some veggies and iced tea as a treat.

One day at a time my friends, and on holidays, just let yourself relax and enjoy good food, company, and an extra slice of pie.
