I got on a scale for the first time in a while and can't believe the number I saw.
I've always been overweight/obese and I've been gaining weight since going back to grad school for a doctorate but now that I'm a little past the halfway mark for the program I can see just how MUCH I've put on.
I'm 5'5" and I hit 285 today. I'll be the first to admit I have horrible habits. I'll eat take-out because it's easier. If I saw I'll stop eating out so much and eat at home, I'll eat a bag of chips bc that's faster than cooking. Even if I'm cooking, I end up making pasta dishes since they're fast and easy (I don't really know how to cook).
All I do is sit to study or lie in bed watching a movie or browsing reddit.
I'm broke and can't afford a gym membership and unfortunately I'm in the super cold north so walking around outside is difficult during this time of year.
Well I bought a food scale and opened a MFP account. I'm juts feeling really overwhelmed with where to start.
I'm going to be starting rotations in 6 months and my biggest worry is keeping up, physically.
Any advice?
