Hello r/loseit. I naively went on a low calorie diet, I wasn't counting calories, I just basically cut out lunch and junk that I used to snack on, and I took up jogging for about half an hour. This is what I ate throughout the day:
Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs, 2 toasts and coffee. (This is what I typically ate even before the diet) Lunch - A salad or a cottage cheese roll. Dinner - Vegetables, lentils and Indian bread. (Again, this is what I typically ate even before the diet)
I now realize that this was wrong. I felt weak during the diet, and lost about 6 kilos in 3 months, not rapid by any means. Not worth it at all. I really wish I'd known, but had no prior knowledge about the healthy way to lose weight. I'm a male, 25 years old. my height is 5'10" and weight is now 94 kgs. My hair started falling out about half way through the diet.
Has anyone gone through this and recovered? Is there hope?
