I post here because I am a bit bummed. I started the journey a year ago on mid-August 2017. I was turning 29 and don’t want to be obese for my 30th birthday. My height is 163 cm and my starting weight was 79 kg. My goal weight is 57 kg.
Within 3 months, I lost 12 kg and went down to 67 kg. I was ecstatic and happy. My sister (with a good intention I think) told me that it was too fast and I would gain it all back up if I keep on at this rate so I slowed down. Not to mention that the weight is harder to come off. I slowed down way too much to the point when I’m just doing maintenance. While I logged my food daily before, I was doing it intermittently within this year.
So I just weighed myself again and am bummed that I’m at 69.7 kg. So I’m not doing maintenance any more, the weight is slowly creeping up.
I tried to not let myself be dragged down with this so I’m turning to this blog for its positive attitude and to remind myself that I have come far. That failures come with the journey and I will just try again.
