I’ll start: Sorry in advance for the incoming rant. The period between my final update last night (11 pm, I had just done loads of meal prep and was doing great with calories and goals) and now has been a disaster. SO got home from the airport after midnight and I hadn’t seen him all week so we stayed up until 1:30 catching up. Then my knees hurt at bedtime so I stayed up another 30 min to use the TENS unit that I’m trialing. Then my nose was completely blocked and the air in my bedroom was crazy dry- so hard to breathe through my mouth- and I managed to sleep for 2 hours before going for an emergency throat-hydrating tea. Which led to throat-hydrating ice cream (that I’d been coveting earlier while SO ate it). I ate the whole container and felt sick, and had some other snacks too. I did log it all at least (1300 cals). Slept maybe 3.5 more hours tops, with intermittent tea and reading. Have been lying in bed like a zombie on my phone all morning feeling awful. I’m mad at myself for taking my best day and then transitioning into this and ruining half my weekend. My goal for the day: Eat nothing except for the dinner I’ve already cooked which should keep my daily calories below maintenance. Also go buy some nose spray and cough drops. Wishing you all more self control and success than me! And sleep lots if you can. I will try to follow my own advice tonight.
