I reached my first goal this week, coming back to he weight I have 'always' been, which is right at the top end of a normal BMI. It has been a longer journey than I expected but looking back, I have learned a lot. I had always considered myself to be a relatively healthy eater, but I realized there were still too much snacking and stress eating in my life, too much sugar. My diet has improved and I feel less hungry, more energized. I have started again to exercise regularly and can run 5k! Twice a week! That is crazy, six months ago it would have killed me. I am really happy, and hoping to keep on track despite the looming Holidays. Oh, the wine :) But I not done yet. I am not accepting anymore that I am a "chunky" girl, big boned, whatever. I am reaching for another 10 pound loss, right in the middle of normal BMI, where I have only lived once in my adult life. . That is the gift I am giving myself this year, to be a hotter thinner version of me for my 40th year of life. Cheers!
