It's been a 6 year battle trying to end binge eating permanently all while attempting different diets and counting calories. I'm 115 lbs and 5'4 and I don't even trust my scale anymore because I look bigger when I look in the mirror. My biggest weakness happens to be sugar and I can't seem to go longer than a month without binging on it. I don't usually gain much weight when I binge, but I can tell I've put on more weight than what the scale shows. I compensate for my binges by fasting the next day or doing a bunch of exercise.
Methods I've tried with varying degrees of success and failure:
Limiting added sugar to 20 g or less a day (according to WHO's recommendations)
Going refined sugar free (while still consuming fruits and dried fruits)
Keto/Paleo (lasted one week before giving in to a container of hummus)
Replacing white sugar with natural and artificial sweeteners (stevia, erythritol, monk fruit...etc)
Intermittent Fasting
OMAD
What should I try next?
