[Advice Request] Why aren’t I seeing results ?

I’m 41/F SW 214 / height 5’7”

I’ve always led a sedentary lifestyle, clocking up 3,000 steps on an active day with an easily tempted diet.

8 weeks ago I saw a fb advert for a local gym starting a 12 week program and their message was so positive I signed up. Boy was that a shock to the system !!

However I’m disappointed to see no change in my weight or measurements - I seem to have put ON 3 lbs. but I’m doing 3x45 minute HIT workouts a week and calorie tracking on MyFitnessPal. I’m not eating junk, I’m drinking more water -but I’m not seeing this reflected in any results.

The good news is that I FEEL stronger and the workouts aren’t killing me (as badly) anymore, I can lift higher weights/reps; do actual planks/press-ups and run short distance.

Any advice ? The other women who started at the same time are 5+lbs and inches down ... why aren’t I ?
