So I measured myself today using this site: http://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy and my BF% is a whopping 40%. This is supposed to be 2x the recommended amount. I tried a different method on another website and the number turned out to be similar. I can still work out at the gym a good amount (do 60 squats, 100 crunches at a time), I can run for about a mile. I don't have diabetes, thyroid issues, fatty liver, or high LDL. Most of my fat is concentrated in my lower belly and stomach, as well as arms, and those are the places that this estimate hits the hardest. Am i measuring wrong? Should I be FREAKING OUT and get professional help (vs trying to eat a 100/50/50 g protein, carb, fat and work out for an hour daily). Would love to hear any thoughts.
Note: By fine, I don't mean target weight I just mean that I don't feel immobile and incapacitated like what a lot of blogs would have you believe you to be at that weight. I wear a US size 12-14 and my waist is 32.
