Here we are! First day of the month, time to officially kick off November's version of the 30 day accountability challenge. I hope you all are doing well and crushing your goals. It's still kind of early in the day here but I wanted to make sure I got this post up for all the east coast people since it's 8:00 over there. Meanwhile in Colorado the sun is currently setting behind the mountains in a blaze of glory. I had a decent day, pretty uneventful really. Weighed in at 137.8 this morning so already on a good start toward my goal to be under 135. I'm thinking I can even make it by Thanksgiving and then we'll see what happens after that. Took my husband to a doctor's appointment and ran a couple errands, went for a walk outside to enjoy the lovely autumn day, found another job that I'm excited to apply for, played some Elder Scrolls Online and XCOM2... pretty typical Thursday, really. I was excited when I went to the grocery store and saw that they finally had stocked individual slices of my favorite tiramisu cake, which I hadn't seen in months. Got a couple of those and I'm looking forward to working the kcal into my day at some point soon. I also sorted through my Halloween candy. Husband and I got a big bag of assorted candy, carved pumpkins and had costumes... we were all ready to welcome the trick or treaters and then not a single one showed up. I found a Halloween candy buyback program where you can donate extra candy and have it go into care packages sent to deployed members of the military, but damn it I'm keeping the mini Reeses cups for myself :D So I now have a bag of those which I plan to enjoy in responsible quantities. There's probably enough to last me at least to the end of the year.

Steps at 8,167 but I haven't yet left for my usual evening workout. Calories at 1101 and I haven't eaten dinner yet, so I'll have to be careful. Especially since it's my husband's turn to cook so I'm not in charge of meal prep. I'll be happy if I can end up under 1700 after dinner.

And now I'll end with the thing that I'm thankful for today. I'm thankful to live in a place with such generally wonderful weather. Seriously, I think Boulder has it all. Unlike where I grew up, there are seasons here, but the temperatures don't usually get too extreme in either the summer or winter. Usually sunny, and the times when we do get storms they usually pass after a day or two.

Now let's here from you all. Are your months off to a running start? Or was your start to the month looking more like this? Either way, tell me all about it!
