I've been working on losing weight safely and for the long term. I started getting serious in September 2017.

I was at 238 and on my 6'2" frame, that is just 2 lbs from "obese" My goal weight is 190 which will put me jst on the high side of a "normal" BMI
I did pretty well on the first 35 lbs, but it was a real struggle to break 200. I've gone up and down a bit since then, but yeah that "last 10 lbs" plateau is really a pain.
I'm not quite there yet, but today I weighed in at 191.5 this is a new record for me since beginning this journey and I just I just need to put it out there so I can keep myself motivated.

I will consider my goal met when I can get the scale to just under 190 and keep from going over for at least 1 full week.

I don't post much on this subreddit, but just lurking and seeing others posts has really helped me a lot.
