I'm sure this gets posted and reused multiple times but this time I mean it. I've been overweight for a while now and I'm just tired of it. I'm a 21M, so back in high school I used to go to the gym and have a strict routine which helped me lose weight and put on muscle. I ended getting to about 190 pounds my sophomore from 220 and man did it feel great. I ended up leaving the gym due to being unable to afford it which led to me ballooning up and now at the age of 21 I'm currently at 272 pounds. I think some of it has to do with me having an underactive thyroid but I need to quit looking for excuses and do something about it because I hate feeling this way. Which leads me to the fact that today is the day. I came across this subreddit and started browsing it this morning and seeing alot of peoples' success stories truly made me feel motivated. So today I just downloaded MyFitnessPal and am going to track myself for a week very carefully to monitor the reality of my habits. I intend on getting back my gym membership once I'm more financially secure and I intend on leading a healthier style! I look forward to this new journey and taking part in it with people just like me. Let's get to it!
