SV:: Scale started moving! NSV:: Began old hobbies and feeling great!

SV: I posted my Day 1 in August: 111.1kg. The scale FINALLY started moving! I lost 2kgs/5lbs in the last week. What did I change? I ate more. Really! When I make my daughter's snack for the park (She eats so healthy, I eat my chocolate in secret so she doesn't think chocolate is a food group. That's another thing for another time...), I make sure to also cut me a fruit/vegetable snack for the afternoon. After I take her to playgroup in the morning (30mins walk total * 2x/day), I make sure to eat a piece of fruit. An extra two fruits a day isn't so many more calories, but it helped me with my dinner-binge problem. Instead of eating 2 helpings of dinner and 85g of chocolate, I can have 1 generous helping of dinner, and less than 40g chocolate. Whoa!

NSV: I began my old fibre arts hobbies again (I took a 12 year break because of depression and being broke). I'm in the middle of an embroidery, and instead of tons of junk every night, I'm creating again. Just the act of creating things--no matter the medium--I've been feeling more accomplished instead of bummed that I couldn't get anything done that day. It's not much, but it's been helping me from zombie-ing on the Internet with my vice foods of choice. They are becoming more "sometimes foods" than "all-the-time foods." I've been feeling better than ever lately, even my steps feel lighter. I never thought that was actually a thing!
