Here ye, here ye, I want to make a public declaration and put this into words!
I've never been traditionally skinny, but i was super athletic in high school and I was proud of my muscular shape. FF 6 years later: I'm 30 pounds heavier and completely out of shape. I go through the occasional 2 week health sprint - sudden intense calorie tracking and exercise routines, but I can't ever stick to it. I eat fairly healthy and I do walk a lot (Manhattanite), but not enough. The effort of changing my entire lifestyle is so daunting.
I recently started using reddit and seeing this and other subreddits all over my feed has been really great motivation. I just downloaded a calorie and fitness tracking app and I'm starting again, baby steps. Hopefully this is the time that I can keep it up!
