This sub has been so helpful as Ive lost weight and am now maintaining. There was one "trick" that was useful to me and I havent seen it posted here before so thought Id pass along in case it aids someone else.
My partner eats a decent amount of fast food, pizza, take out, etc. When the smell of those McDonald's fries hits my nose and I can't afford the calories, it's a struggle. I learned that if I fill up on my food staying within my calorie limit, I then allow myself a very small portion of his food after Ive completely finished my food (like 2 french fries). I then get the fry taste to linger in my mouth and I feel full off my meal. Feels like I just ate the fast food but I stay within my caloric limit.
