Hey guys, what's your take on the "When should I stop lifting weights and start building muscle" question?
I'm 5'11'' / 180cm
I used to weight 213lbs / 97kgs
Now I'm at 180lbs / 82kgs
The way I lost weight was through diet and jumping rope 30mins each day, that's literally the only exercise I've been doing and it worked out great for me.
Do you think I should start weight lifting right now and start building muscle? I was thinking of waiting until I drop to 171lbs / 78kg, which is my normal BMI (not overweight or obese), before starting weight lifting. Do you think that's not the right way and I should start doing it now?
