So, I loved costumes before I had kids. And I lived near a huge Ren Faire, so of course I made myself an entire wardrobe of Ren garb. But one of the things I loved about my garb was how great it looked on my fluffy self.
Then... life happened. I lost lots of weight (~80 lb), and had my first baby ON HALLOWEEN, y'all! Gained a lot of the weight back. Couple years later, got pretty fit again. Had baby #2. Gained almost all of the weight back. Got SUPER fit this time, best I've ever looked. I was slammin'! Which is how.... well, baby #3 just woke up, so I need to cut this short.
I've managed to mostly keep a rein on my weight this time around, but a couple months ago, the scale started heading in a direction I didn't like, so I opened Lose It and got logging. I've now dropped almost 10 pounds.
Took the kids Trick or Treating last night. Didn't have a costume because when I put on my Ren garb, I looked like a toddler borrowing her mom's clothes. Instead of hugging my <ahem> "curves", my bodice just kind of hung there. How awesome is that!?
60 lbs gone, 20 go.
