Maintenance Monday: Course corrections

Happy Monday everybody,

Today's topic comes from u/satisphoria:

how and when you course correct if you’re maintaining in a weight range e.g. having to weigh a certain amount for a certain length of time and then go on a more aggressive deficit vs do a slight deficit as soon as you go over your target within the range, managing the different emotions of being lower vs higher than your target weight and being able to eat more or needing to eat less

I'm currently - six months into maintenance - on a fairly conservative path. If my 30 day average is within a 2kg range, I'm good. In fact my 30 day average wen the up 0.1 kg after being rock solid at 77.5 kg for over a month. So that's good. On target. My only concern is that I'm maybe being too conservative. Or maybe I should just stop worrying.

So, what's your strategy?
