Some examples:
Natacha Oceane: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fj_ZJhdsr7s In this one she discusses how she now eats 2800cal per day but used to eat 1400 (this is what I eat now!?!)
Another example is Stephanie Buttermore which I can't find the exact calories but she seems to eat similarly.
I get it, they are working out, doing lots of lifting (which muscle requires more calories). But even days I do Barry's Bootcamp (they claim up to 1000 cal per class, but I give myself an extra 400 for about 3.5 miles of intense running and 30 minutes of lifting/bodyweight exercises) I'll eat 1800. On a day without working out if I go above 1600 I gain and I eat relatively healthy.
I've heard Natacha Oceane in 1 video say she'll do a MAX of 4 intense workouts (burning about 4-500 in an hour) a week in a normal week. How the heck does this woman eat so much and stay lean?
I'm just wondering if anyone has been able to transition to a diet/exercise plan more like this? Overall I am used to the calorie counting, I've been doing it about 1.5 years, and I can control my eating. It's a huge burden, though, to have to be so regimented in my social life, and oftentimes I'll skip out on events if I know there's too much temptation, or if it's a last minute invite and I've used all my calories already. Additionally, with family events/weekends with tons of food, I've just accepted I'm gonna be off track for that amount of time and need to really cut back after a few days of that. I'd love to have the flexibility of such a high calorie diet, I just don't get how it's possible.
