[M|24|5'9"|196.8 lbs] I weighed 245 in college and had a lot of stomach and heart problems. Fast forward a year through trial and error with exercise and CICO. I dropped down to 183 lbs. I went from XL in all my clothes to small and mediums. I worked at a grocery store as a stocker so I stayed very active. I worked out every morning on a push/pull/leg routine. I lived in my very small hometown, just got out of a long term relationship, and worked a dead end job so I really didn't have anything better to do.
Back in March, I got a job opportunity that I couldn't pass up and moved to a much larger city. However, my new job at a credit union is very sedentary. When I get off work, I always just talk myself out of my old routine since I work mornings now. I don't feel that drive I had back then. There's more to do here. I started eating more and more like I did before losing the weight. Now I'm up to my weight stated above.
I've cut back on what I was eating and need to do CICO which is real problem I'm having. But I stayed constantly hungry. And I would keep eating and eating. I've recently cut red meat and started forcing myself to introduce a new vegetable to my diet every week.
What do you guys recommend to get back into the swing of things? I got so bored of my routine and I really want to enjoy the gym like I used to. I want to get back to 183 and keep chipping away like I was so close to accomplishing.
