A year ago I quit smoking, and I quit drinking almost 10 months ago. I have always been a morning person. However, my weight is out of control. I have always been overweight. I am now 270 ;bs (male, 5'9"). I had been half-heartedly exercising, when I realized that if I can quit smoking and drinking, and have no desire to go back, then I can do this. I can put my willpower to this. This time feels different. I joined a gym, and have been going every day before work this week. Time will tell if I stick with it (how many of us have said this before?), but this time feels different. I enjoy reading everyone's posts. They are inspiration. I hope that I can be a success to add to them.
