Currently weight 292, started at 306. MFP has mne at 1900~ calories a day to lose 2 pounds/week. I have been eating anywhere from 1100-1500 since starting a couple weeks ago. I haven't even felt as hungry lately since starting.
Today, by my calulations, I ate 1913 calories. The thing is, I have NO idea if thats accurate. I ate one meal today, the family meal, and nothing else. I wieghed every single thing that went to my plate. I looked weird but idgaf. I ended up with a rather large plate, but it was my only meal for Thanksgiving day. I know it's late when posting this, but I generally stay up late.
Here is what I came up with:
1 cup of sweet corn - 125 calories
4oz of stuffing (homemade, I used a MFP recipe to calculate 186 calories
1/2 cup of homemade gravy 50 calories (based on MFP). Who knows what it could be given its my grandmas recipe and she wouldnt tell me what alls in it
9oz of mashed potatos (another homemade. I CANNOT find good consistent numbers here. I found several recipes for mashed potatos, all varying wildly. The best I come up with is 250-300ish calories but it seems low. Very low)
6oz turkey breast meat, no fat. - 267 calories
Lastly, my mom handed me a plate with a piece of pie. Foolishly, I ate it. It was from Sam's Club. I calculated it. 875 Calories. No one to blame for that one but myself.
This brings me to 1913 calories (had some grapes early in the morning, these included in final number) for the day. The food seems low. Like, I FEEL like I ate more than that. I measured it all best as I could, and I feel like garbage, yet if my data is right, I technicially stayed within my goal.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? It's kinda got me down. Either way tomorrow I am back to low cal stir fry with precisely measured and weighed ingredients and lunchmeats.
