I don’t know what I expected… But I thought by now eating differently would be easy for me. I don’t plan on giving up, I’m going to have to watch my weight the rest of my life. This isn’t a temporary diet , so I wish it would get easier.
I eat “correctly” but I’m still hungry all the time . I eat plenty of healthy fats and protein . I do CICO so nothing is off limits per say , but sticking to a budget has forced me to make lower calorie choices . I don’t really have a question , just wanted to vent I guess. Throwing out some random complaints . When I’m watching my family eat chicken and broccoli Alfredo I’m not satisfied eating the veggies and chicken while skipping pasta/sauce because it’s still such a small amount compared to what I used to put on my plate . When I have a Quest protein bar for breakfast I’m hungry again an hour later . Drinking a bunch of water only helps for a little while .
Why after this long is my body still screaming at me that I want to eat more ? No my mind - my stomach actually feels hungry . I’ve kicked the mindless bored eating habit a long time ago . I still have 55lbs to lose to put me at the high end of a healthy BMI . I’ll get there . I still have hope it’ll get easier . I don’t even miss “junk” food , I miss the amount I used to eat . I’ve always preferred real foods to snack foods, fast foods, or sweets . I didn’t have one piece of Halloween candy and wasn’t even tempted . I’m not wasting calories on drinks . The only thing i drink with calories is my morning coffee and that’s only 30 calories of almond milk and flavor syrup .
Someone tell me it’ll get a little easier please !!
