Like I said, I've lost 20 so far, but have a long ways to go. I wanted some advice on a couple of things. Forst thing being, what should a decent goal weight be? I've never been at a healthy weight, so I don't know. Second is how to stay motivated. I have periods where I feel motivated, and like I can follow through with the discipline, but others where I get so depressed that I can hardly bother, and just sort if give in to my old habits to feel normal again. The third is, what should my goal be? I want to try to get as low as I can without doing damage to my body in the long run, so what are some guidelines to go by? And finally, what are some good exercises to do that'll both lose weight, and preserve the muscle mass that is already present? Obviously at this point losing weight is the priority, but it'd be nice to keep as much of the muscle as I can.
