In 570 days my brother is getting married. I WILL be at a healthy weight for that day. I WILL NOT be a fat sweaty mess in front of all new people. I WILL enjoy the day without a feeling of judgement about being fat. In theory 570 days is way more than enough time to lose 30kg to 40kg, but we all know it isn't that easy.
Currently weighing in at around 130kg at 6'4" with a final goal of 90kg to 100kg. Simple CICO will be my main way of losing, sticking to the MFP goal for 0.5kg loss a week, and some weight lifting thrown in when I get the time. The single biggest challenge I will face is sticking to the goal while working away due to mcdonalds and pub meals being the most available options for lunch and dinner. Mcdonalnds is easy to deal with, just order one item and pay. Pub meals are harder to deal with as we get an allowance for evening meals so my colleague gets the most out of that £12 (wetherspoons is surprisingly cheap) and orders all sorts of extras. (I would just like to note that my colleague is an active guy, competes in spartan races and all that stuff).
My first goal I am going to set myself is to limit my "treat days" to just 4 days out of whatever is left in the year. xmas day, boxing day, new years eve, and my works xmas doo. After that, payday will be my treat day, just one day a month. I won't be restricting myself completely of chocolate and other sweet food but i do need to reduce it as much as I can.... because too much sugar and empty calories.
I have a few other small things that I need to get in order as to make it easier on myself in the long run, like sorting out my sleeping habits (its 3am, I should be asleep), and tidying my bedroom properly. I am also going to buy a small diary to write down what I eat before shoving it in my gob, and also write down just how i generally feel about progress and whatnot.
Today is the last day of being 130kg and stuffing my face with whatever I want, pants are getting harder to fasten up and I'm not buying bigger pants.
