30 Day Accountability Challenge- Day 22

Happy Thanksgiving my fellow winners at losing! I hope you're having a wonderful day, even those that don't celebrate Thanksgiving (or who celebrated it last month). Yesterday being a travel day, those are always challenging for me as far as sticking to a plan but I'm pretty pleased at how I did. Had a light breakfast at home before we left for our 11:15 flight and then once we arrived in Cali my parents took us out for lunch. I had an omelette with some fruit, logged it (even logging 2 tbsp of oil just to be sure since I don't know how it was cooked) and just a small bowl of soup for dinner (dutifully logged and planned for also). Even had time in between all the shopping (seriously, how many trips to the grocery store does it take to buy everything you need for a Thanksgiving dinner? Apparently about 4) and getting a head start on food prep for today I still had time to get in a good workout. Then this morning I started out with a light breakfast and running the turkey trot 5K with my mom and am now watching the Macy's parade on TV waiting for the family to show up. I intend to practice intuitive eating today: I will indulge in my favorite dishes, including plenty of pie, but will stop once I am no longer hungry. And then tomorrow it's right back to tracking.

Weight: Going to be taking a break from weighing myself until my next weekly weigh in on Wednesday. I won't be able to weigh myself until Monday morning even if I wanted to

Calories: 1632 trying to be as conservative as possible logging my restaurant lunch

Steps: 12903 steps. Not bad for a travel day, not bad at all, even though it was short of my goal

Gratitude: Today I am grateful to be part of such a big, crazy, but fun and loving clan. I'm the youngest of 6 living siblings plus now we all have significant others and there are 9 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 24 down to not-quite-2 years. Family gatherings are quite a time for us :D

Now let's hear from all of you: how are your days going?
